With
over 30 years experience in the business of precision grinding,
Facts Precision has a process to suit virtually every application.
Our
double face fine grinding process improves upon thetraditional
lapping process with geometric envelopes of less than 2 microns
(Flatness & Parallelism). Surface finish is typically better
than 0.1 microns. Of course, a major hidden benefit of this
niche process is the fact that parts are removed from the
grinding wheel, free from potentially dangerous lapping compounds.
A Variety of plant is deployed to undertake Centreless, Cylindrical
and Surface Grinding.
However, grinding plant is only as useful as the measuring
equipment which supports each process and at Facts Precision
this includes Talyrond Roundness checking equipment, Surtronic
Surface Finish equipment and Johannson Comparators which,
together with extensive use of statistical process control,
ensure only parts of supreme accuracy are produced.
